South Beach....

Today we drove to south beach with the couple we met from Michigan. It was a fabulous sunny day on the beach with the beautiful aqua ocean stretching out before us. There was a morning stop for breakfast at a diner that is frequented by the celebrities. It is well known for its food and there are pictures on the wall of fame of all the old stars from days gone by including a very young Tom Selleck and Dustin Hoffman. A very neat place. Later this afternoon we stopped at Fridays for a cocktail and wow, the best Margarita in a very long time. They sure knew how to make them.  We took time to stroll down the strip before heading home and enjoyed seeing all the neat eateries and shops. When I win the lottery I will be able to afford to shop there. Definitely for the rich and famous.
We are tired tonight and all we have managed to do is laundry. All tolled it was another good day.
Cheers!

  1. You sure did have a blue sky day. Talked with Mom this evening. She had a call from Gail and Bob from TO. She was glad to hear from them. Told her you were taking a cruise. She's happy for you but didn't think you were fond of cruises. I told her you would have a great time. You didn't used to like flying either, but look how often you have done it and have had great trips. (She chuckled at that.)
